Adam Oates + State of the Sharks with Drew Remenda
Matt Marchese and Mike Futa open a new week on The FAN Hockey Show with thoughts on Connor McDavid’s ridiculous point-scoring pace to start the season. The guys take a closer look at the weekend that was in the NHL on Monday’s edition of the Futa Five. Adam Oates (26:26), Hockey Hall of Famer and President of the Oates Sports Group, reminisces about his 29-point lacrosse game, before chatting about the impact of speed in today’s NHL and the players he’s worked with throughout his career. Later, Sharks analyst Drew Remenda (49:13) checks in ahead of tonight’s battle against the Maple Leafs and discusses his expectations for the group this season, the team’s situation in goal, and Ivar Stenberg’s first eight games in San Jose.
