Will Sam Bennett Stay in Florida + Top Team Tier List

Matt Marchese and Mike Futa kick off The FAN Hockey Show with Florida Panthers Analyst Ed Jovanovski, who discusses the Panthers' performance without Barkov and Tkachuk, Anton Lundell's effect, and if Sam Bennett will take a team-friendly contract to stay in Florida. Next, Sportsnet Host and Reporter Anna Dua (16:21) joins the show to examine the Toronto Maple Leafs' play without Auston Matthews, whether the Leafs have established a team identity, and if their powerplay can heat up after a big win against Boston on Tuesday. They later then discuss their top team tier list, whether the Carolina Hurricanes can get back on the list, and whether Cale Makar can lead the league in scoring. The guys wrap up the show previewing tonight’s scheduled games (52:49).
