Episode 225 - What Your Neck And Jaw Tension Might Actually Be Telling You
If you're like myself and many of my clients, you've spent alot of time trying to find the right neck exercise for your constant neck and jaw tension. You've done breathwork and the stretches, but you're still feeling like you're on an uphill battle with constant tension. If you're someone who constantly reads the room, notices other people's emotions, or are a recovering "people-pleaser", your chronic tension might not be a mechanical problem. In this episode, I'm sharing a pattern I see all the time with my clients (and something I've been working through myself): the connection between people-pleasing, self-abandonment, and the tension that feels like it lives in your jaw and neck. If you've tried everything and your tension keeps coming back, this might give you a different perspective and better direction.
