Michael Geddes, Harold Ballard documentary

Offside: The Harold Ballard Story executive producer Michael Geddes talks about working with Vancouverite/90210’s Jason Priestley, the ‘Ballard Curse’ being responsible for 56 seasons [and counting] without a Stanley Cup [and 19 seasons without winning a playoff round!], uncovering both urban legends [threatening to turn the womens’ McGill Club into a Playboy Club] and realities [direct fan access via the ‘Muppets Bunker’], Ballard operating not with a sharp pencil but rather with NO pencil, how another ex-convict [Yolanda] entering his life showed that ‘birds of a feather do time together,’ notes that Ballard first took over at age 68 when most executives have already retired, and how the whole story could have been an episode of ‘Succession’...had it all not actually happened IN REAL LIFE!
