Blue Jays Pursue Diaz, Rodriguez Out

The Toronto Blue Jays, following a close World Series loss, are making significant moves in free agency. Theyve signed star pitcher Dylan Cease and are now reportedly pursuing three-time All-Star closer Edwin Diaz. Diaz, known for his dominance with the Mets, has expressed interest in returning but is also open to other teams. The Mets, unwilling to offer him a five-year contract, could pave the way for Diaz to join the Blue Jays. The team recently removed Yariel Rodriguez from their roster, creating an opening for Diaz to potentially bolster their bullpen. DNN | The Daily News Now! The world’s first global local news network.
