Maryland Redistricting a “Power Grab”? Berney Flowers Sounds the Alarm

Maryland’s redistricting battle is getting increasingly contentious. On Campaign Trail: The Road to Congress, Republican congressional candidate Berney Flowers, who is seeking to represent Maryland’s 3rd Congressional District, joins host Todd M. Schoenberger and delivers a sharp critique of efforts to redraw Maryland’s congressional map. Flowers argues that the effort is designed to threaten Republican representation, particularly the seat held by Rep. Andy Harris, and calls the proposed changes an “ugly power grab.” He also raises concerns about election integrity, voter representation and whether Maryland’s heavily Democratic political landscape is driving the push for a new congressional map. Why redraw the map? Who stands to gain? And could Maryland’s redistricting fight reshape the state’s congressional delegation? This clip presents Flowers’ argument and the political stakes behind one of Maryland’s most consequential election battles. 🔗 Website: https://biztalktodaytv.com 📧 Contact on Email: [email protected] 📲 Download the Biz Talk Today TV app on Apple & Android devices. 📢 Disclaimer: The views and opinions expressed on this program are those of the hosts and guests and do not necessarily reflect the official policy or position of CrossCheck Media Inc., Biz Talk Today TV (BTT), or their affiliated entities and distribution partners.
