On this Trash-Talkin Tuesday on The Odd Couple, Chris Broussard and Rob Parker cover all things sports, beginning with MLB Superstar Mike Trout and the historic contract extension that he just signed with the Los Angeles Angels. The crew debates whether or not Trout made a mistake of not asking for an opt-out clause, and if the Angels losing culture hurt Trout’s future MVP chances; also, does Mike Trout’s marketability hurt the MLB as a whole? With Luke Walton all but gone as the Los Angeles Lakers Head Coach, rumors have it that LA is interested in bringing in Hall of Fame Coach Doc Rivers. The guys discuss which franchise Doc Rivers should stick with, the Lakers or the Clippers? Our guests tonight, NBA Champion/Fox Sports NBA Analyst Antonio Daniels, Fox Sports College Hoops Analyst Aaron Torres, and USA Today Sports MLB Columnist Bob Nightengale join the show to discuss Mike Trout’s historic payday and everything NBA.
