The House Judiciary Democrats’ 53 Page Trump/Epstein Report (Part 2) (10/26/26)
The House Judiciary Committee Democratic staff report argues that the publicly released Epstein records, FBI interviews, survivor accounts and congressional investigative material establish more than enough evidence to justify a renewed criminal investigation into Donald Trump’s relationship with Jeffrey Epstein and the broader Epstein network. The 53-page report focuses heavily on the overlapping social world surrounding Trump, Epstein, modeling agent Paolo Zampolli and Elite Model Management founder John Casablancas during the 1990s, contending that modeling agencies, pageants and parties provided access to vulnerable young women and girls. It assembles accounts involving 11 women, including Beatrice Keul, Stacey Williams, Jill Harth, “Katie Johnson,” Maria Farmer and two Epstein survivors who testified at Ghislaine Maxwell’s trial. Five of the women, according to the report, directly accused Trump of rape or sexual assault in circumstances involving Epstein or his immediate orbit, while others described encounters in which Epstein or Maxwell allegedly introduced or “presented” women to Trump. The report also points to flight records, Trump’s past comments about Epstein, Epstein communications claiming Trump “knew about the girls,” the disputed Epstein birthday letter, and testimony contradicting Trump’s claims that he barely knew Epstein, never flew on his plane and expelled him from Mar-a-Lago. These are allegations and conclusions advanced by Democratic committee staff, not criminal findings against Trump.
The second half of the report is just as focused on the Justice Department as it is on Trump, accusing DOJ and FBI leadership of deliberately shutting down meaningful investigation of Epstein’s remaining associates and withholding or excessively redacting records that could implicate politically powerful people. The report specifically targets Attorney General Todd Blanche, arguing that during his 2025 prison interview with Maxwell he repeatedly prevented her from discussing a survivor whose FBI account implicated Trump, and contends that Blanche’s conduct raises potential obstruction and witness-tampering questions. It further argues that DOJ’s declaration that there was insufficient evidence to investigate additional Epstein co-conspirators is impossible to reconcile with the material already in federal possession, while pointing to alleged failures to assist investigations in New Mexico and the United Kingdom. The report concludes that DOJ has an irreconcilable conflict of interest and calls for an independent special counsel empowered to investigate Trump as well as Epstein’s other potential accomplices and enablers, while sharing relevant evidence with state and foreign prosecutors. Its central contention is that the Epstein investigation was not exhausted because investigators ran out of evidence, but was curtailed despite evidence that, in the committee Democrats’ view, easily satisfies the federal threshold for opening additional criminal investigations.
