Exposing the Darkness: Ward Hiney on Appalachian Lore, Deliverance, and Supernatural Warfare

What happens when the veil between the natural and supernatural grows thin? In this powerful episode of Broadcasting Seeds, Bennett Tanton sits down with Ward Hiney—filmmaker, storyteller, and the creative mind behind Dark Holler Studios. Known for their gripping docuseries that blend Appalachian folklore, deliverance ministry, and real-world spiritual warfare, Ward takes us deep into the shadows where faith meets fear. We explore:

• The inspiration behind Dark Holler and how Ward’s work bridges the gap between horror, healing, and holiness.
• The very real spiritual oppression present in the Appalachian region—and why it matters now more than ever.
• The connections between generational trauma, demonic influence, and high strangeness.
• How film can be a tool of both revelation and redemption.

This isn’t your average paranormal podcast episode. It’s a raw, revelatory conversation about darkness, deliverance, and the hope that can be found in truth.
