The Shunammite - Elisha - 2 Kings 4

The story of the Shunammite woman invites us to slow down and see Scripture with fresh eyes, especially the stories of women whose faith, courage, and agency often shine brighter than we expect.

In her friendship with Elisha, we witness a woman who creates space for God, responds with boldness in crisis, and experiences a God who meets her grief with compassion and her obedience with restoration. Her story reminds us that God often works through the relationships we nurture and the hospitality we offer, shaping our faith through the people we welcome into our lives.
