- Humana (HUM) shares surged as the company improved its performance on crucial Medicare Advantage quality ratings that will boost future revenue. The company’s largest Medicare Advantage contract with more than 2 million members improved its rating above the threshold to earn bonus payments, according to data released from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. The quality measures, called Star ratings, can translate to bonuses worth billions of dollars for companies if their plans have four or more stars.

- Webull Corp. shares rise after Scotiabank raised its recommendation on the exchange to sector outperform from sector perform after the recent selloff in shares. Analyst Lance Jessurun sees the risk for Webull shares now priced in after the recent selloff on the China report and notes that revenues and profits continue to rise

- Delta Air Lines (DAL) reduced its full-year earnings outlook due to elevated jet fuel prices, expecting adjusted earnings of $5.10 to $5.60 per share in 2026. The airline expects to absorb approximately $6 billion in additional fuel costs this year compared with 2025, citing the war in the Middle East as a factor. Delta's Chief Executive Officer Ed Bastian said he expects flying demand to hold up despite higher ticket prices, noting that "the market has accepted these price points" and that travel is a priority for wealthier consumers.
