“Maxxing”: The Word Of The Year (At Least It’s Better Than "6-7?")

Dictionary.com’s Word of the Year is one that we’ve all heard, read, and yes, sometimes even used in varying situations. “Maxxing” is a word that refers to the practice of pursuing an activity to the fullest,  or optimizing a certain aspect of your life. It can be used on its own, but it’s often used with a word ahead of it making it work in just about any scenario. While looksmaxxing may be the most well known application, it can be used throughout the day: you can be proteinmaxxing your breakfast, tokenmaxxing AI during your workday, and then end with cozymaxxing at night.
