RHLSTP Book Club 38 - Greg Jenner

RHLSTP Book Club 38 - You Are History - Historian Greg Jenner returns to tell us about his latest book for kids, the colourful and beautifully produced You Are History. He discusses how telling the story of mankind through 50 everyday items is surprisingly efficient, why comedy is a good way to teach kids about history and why it was important that the book also included darker subjects. Plus the comedy death of a medieval toilet cleaner, the almost deadly antics of John Joseph Merlin, how we nearly ended up with Ahoy magazine, plus a couple of bonus facts for adults only!
