Retrotopia Talks Just Cause 2

Welcome to another episode of Retrotopia: Another Video Game Podcast. This is a show where we, Alan, Brian, and Sam, get together to discuss video games from years gone by. We like to look at video games from the perspective of lifelong gamers and how they hold up in the retro sphere.

This week we are discussing Just Cause 2, a PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC game released in 2010 that drops players onto the massive island of Panau as Rico Rodriguez, a highly skilled operative tasked with overthrowing a ruthless dictator and uncovering the truth behind his missing mentor. Armed with a grappling hook, parachute, an arsenal of weapons, and an impressive collection of vehicles, Rico is free to explore the open world, cause mayhem, and pull off increasingly ridiculous stunts in one of gaming's most explosive playgrounds.
