Wake Up Tri-Counties Samantha Talks OSF HealthCare United Way Fundraiser, Blood Drive, Blessing of Pets, and Screen Time Guidelines

OSF HealthCare is wrapping up its United Way campaign after a pie-in-the-face fundraiser brought in more than $800, with hopes of topping $3,000 locally. Upcoming events include a blood drive Thursday, October 1st, from 7 AM to 5 PM in the hospital’s East-West Conference Room, with registration available at bloodcenter.org. OSF will also host a Blessing of the Pets on Wednesday, October 7th, at 12:30 PM near the main entrance, alongside Humane Society adoptable pets from 11 AM to 1 PM. OSF also reminds families to limit screen time, especially one hour before bedtime.
