TRUMP BANS LEFT-WING MEDIA OUTLETS FROM WHITE HOUSE | WAR ROOM PM W STEVE BANNON | SEPTEMBER 19, 2026

President Trump announced an immediate White House ban on CNN, MS NOW, and Politico, citing what he called constant "fake news." The announcement immediately raised questions about how the restrictions would be enforced and what they would mean for press access at the White House. The ban was publicly reported Friday.

Steve Bannon breaks down the developing fight over the White House press corps alongside Peter Navarro and Natalie Winters. The conversation examines the administration's escalating confrontation with major media organizations and the broader battle over how President Trump and his agenda are covered.

Navarro joins the War Room discussion with his perspective from inside Trump's orbit, while Winters weighs in on the political and media implications of the showdown. Bannon presses the larger question hanging over Washington: what happens when the White House decides that its long-running fight with legacy media is no longer rhetorical?

The dispute now turns to access, credentials, enforcement and the response from the affected news organizations as the confrontation between the Trump administration and the press enters a new phase.

Where does the White House-media battle go from here?
