THE ROAD FORWARD | JULY 19TH, 2026

As America marks its 250th anniversary, Sunday: The Road Forward explores the nation's Christian heritage and the enduring role of biblical truth in shaping both the church and the public square. Host Ryan Helfenbein sits down with newly elected Southern Baptist Convention President Willie Rice for a wide-ranging conversation on whether America can be considered a Christian nation, the influence of Scripture on the Founding Fathers, and why a new generation is rediscovering the Bible. Plus, learn about the No One Left Behind Initiative, a faith-based effort to equip thousands of volunteers to support veterans, first responders, and military families facing mental health challenges.
