SWALWELL TOOK ILLEGAL CASH FROM CHINESE SPY | WAR ROOM AM W STEVE BANNON | AUGUST 17TH, 2026

John Solomon joins Steve Bannon with a massive Just the News exclusive: Newly declassified FBI files released by the White House Government Transparency Task Force detail how suspected Chinese spy Fang Fang (Christine Fang) allegedly compromised then-Rep. Eric Swalwell with sex, planted interns in his office, and funneled illegal campaign donations through U.S. conduits. The memos show the FBI initially eyed a bribery probe into Swalwell before narrowing it, that agents were recruiting Fang as a source (code-named "Rusty Thumbs") while discovering the scheme, and that DOJ declined to charge her after she fled. Swalwell admitted the sexual relationship and intern placements but denied wrongdoing.

This drops as Swalwell remains a former congressman after resigning earlier in 2026 amid separate sexual misconduct allegations. Solomon breaks down the documents, the Jack Smith connection in the early stages, and what it reveals about Chinese influence operations targeting American politicians.

What do these declassified files finally prove about foreign interference in U.S. elections and who got protected? Drop your take in the comments.
