His campaign says he never supported defunding police and points to votes that sent money to law enforcement. Critics say the tape speaks for itself. Liberty University's sixth annual CEO Summit is underway in Lynchburg, October 7–9. CEOs, C-suite executives, and government leaders are on campus around a "Made in America" theme, with Eric Metaxas unveiling his book on America's founding and Governor Ron DeSantis listed as a keynote. The International Fellowship of Christians and Jews is running its third annual Flags of Fellowship around the October 7 anniversary. The Fellowship says 4,375 churches, synagogues, universities, and organizations in 12 countries are planting fields of 1,200 Israeli flags — more than 5.2 million in all — to remember the victims of the Hamas attacks and stand against antisemitism.
