Unia's board green-lit a racism complaint against the Ghent postdoc on Oct. 1. The body says his "race realist" writing ranks people and justifies segregation. Belgian lawyers say the anti-racism law still requires malicious intent. Ghent suspended him in August after he accused the late Cambridge professor Jason Arday of plagiarism, then let him research from home with a teaching ban. U.S. Ambassador Bill White already pressed the university on his behalf.
