Baby Bunting CEO speaks with Proactive at the ASX SMIDcaps Conference
Baby Bunting CEO Mark Teperson talked with Proactive at the ASX Small and Mid-Cap Conference about its strategic plan, record and its Sore of the Future. Baby Bunting Group Limited (ASX:BBN) is Australia’s largest specialty maternity and baby goods retailer. Supporting new and expectant parents since 1979, Baby Bunting operates throughout Australia and opened its first store in New Zealand in 2022. A key part of Baby Bunting’s growth strategy is its “Store of the Future” refurbishment program, which modernises existing stores to better meet the needs of today’s parents. The refurbished stores delivered an 18% sales uplift after reopening, with a payback period of less than three years. Baby Bunting plans to complete 10 to 12 further refurbishments in FY27. Looking ahead, the company has provided FY27 pro forma NPAT guidance of $19 million to $21 million. Its longer-term strategy focuses on store refurbishments, network expansion, margin improvement and operating leverage, with a target of achieving a 10%+ EBITDA margin, compared with 6.8% in FY26. #BabyBuntingGroupLimited #ProactiveInvestors #MarkTeperson #BabyProducts #SpecialtyRetail
