Harry and Meghan Pitch New Netflix Polo Drama as Criticism Mounts

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are developing a new Netflix drama set in the elite polo world of Wellington, Florida, even as questions continue about the strength of their relationship with the streaming giant.

Netflix insists the partnership remains active, but critics are openly questioning the strategy, with brand experts warning that ongoing reports of behind-the-scenes tensions could damage the couple’s reputation in Hollywood. Others have been far more blunt, suggesting the Sussexes are struggling to establish a clear identity as producers.

We also hear from Deep Crown, who sees a certain irony in the project’s focus on “messy dynamics between rival families,” noting the couple’s own history may be their most relevant experience.
Plus: King Charles prepares for a potentially sensitive visit to the United States, facing political scrutiny over timing, and quietly makes a $4.7 million move to secure Queen Camilla’s private estate.
