2026 NFL Draft Film Study: Nose Tackle Fits and Wide Receiver Options for Green Bay

🏈 Packernet Podcast | 2026 NFL Draft Film Study: DT & WR Second Round Targets

Ryan digs deep into the film on the Packers' most realistic second-round defensive tackle and wide receiver options — and walks away with a clear favorite at each position, even if neither pick is a slam dunk.

📋 What's Covered:

• 🟢 Defensive Tackle Breakdown — Ryan runs every prospect through a three-question test built for Jonathan Gannon's scheme: Can you draw double teams? Can you hold up against them? And can you dominate in one-on-ones? Lee Hunter passes with flying colors, Caleb Banks and Dominique Orange earn respect, but Kristen Miller raises some real concerns about scheme fit.
• 🎯 The Value Over Replacement Dilemma — Is Lee Hunter worth the second-round capital when serviceable DTs exist in rounds four through six? Ryan makes the fantasy football analogy that reframes the whole conversation.
• 📡 Wide Receiver Scouting — Chris Brazil gets the Christian Watson clone treatment (that's a compliment), Ted Hurst emerges as a sleeper, and Malachi Fields checks every measurable box while leaving Ryan just slightly unconvinced.
• 🧠 The Big Picture Question — With pass rushers, linebackers, and corners all in the mix, Ryan wrestles with whether a nose tackle or a receiver is truly the best use of Pick 52.
