After leaving a long emotionally abusive marriage, Cara was pulled into a relationship that began with love bombing, constant praise, and the feeling of finally being seen. But over time, the relationship became a cycle of fear, isolation, trauma bonding, suicide threats, physical intimidation, and emotional caretaking.
