Highlights, game recap from Colts Week 9 loss vs. Steelers

In a hard-fought battle, the Indianapolis Colts' four-game winning streak was halted by the Pittsburgh Steelers, resulting in a 27-20 loss. Quarterback Daniel Jones had a challenging game with five turnovers, including three interceptions and two fumbles, which significantly impacted the game's outcome. Despite Jones' season-high 342 passing yards and a late touchdown pass to Josh Downs, the Colts couldn't secure the win due to an unsuccessful onside kick recovery.Receiver Michael Pittman Junior and Alec Pierce shone on the field, contributing to most of the Colts' offense. Pittman set personal bests for catches, yards, and targets, while Pierce added 115 yards, including the game's longest play. The Steelers' defense was formidable, forcing six turnovers and sacking Jones five times, ultimately proving too much for the Colts to overcome. As the Colts look to maintain their playoff aspirations, they must address their costly errors and refocus for their next game. With talented receivers stepping up, the team has the potential to bounce back and secure a victory. DNN | The Daily News Now! The world’s first global local news network. Every city. Every story.
