Colts’ Blocking Unit Reaches Rarefied Air This Season

The Indianapolis Colts' offensive line, led by rookies Tanor Bortolini and Matt Goncalves, has been making headlines in the NFL. Despite losing key players in free agency, the Colts' line has risen to the top, ranking first in pass protection and run blocking. This impressive performance has earned them the number one spot among offensive lines for three weeks running. The line's exceptional protection has allowed quarterback Daniel Jones to stay upright and confident, contributing to the team's second-best record in the NFL with only nine sacks. Running back Jonathan Taylor is also benefiting from the wide-open running lanes, with a chance to tie the Colts' all-time rushing touchdown record. As the Colts face the Pittsburgh Steelers and star pass rusher T J Watt this Sunday, all eyes are on this resurgent line to maintain their top ranking and momentum. DNN | The Daily News Now!
