But depression has a way of amplifying itself, and a bold attempt to pursue graduate studies brought more heartache in the form of rejection, exacerbated by a professor who questioned my potential. Yet, from this abyss emerged an unexpected opportunity, one that would eventually open doors to a future beyond my wildest dreams—a testament to resilience in the face of despair.
