Manipur Musician Killed in Delhi Attack | Global News

A beloved Manipuri guitarist, Chongtham Vikram Singh, was brutally murdered in Delhi after confronting men shouting and drinking outside his apartment — a tragedy that’s sparked nationwide grief and calls for justice. Known for decades as a mentor, musician, and cultural icon who shaped Manipur’s rock scene, Vikram lived a quiet but profound life, playing jazz, blues, and fusion across Delhi while nurturing generations of students. His wife insists on justice, not vengeance, honoring a man who lit up rooms without seeking fame. Seven suspects, including a juvenile, are now in custody as communities demand a transparent investigation — even as police rule out racial motive.
