Helicopter Crash Amid Bus Accident in LA | Global News

A news helicopter crashed in Los Angeles, igniting a fire and killing at least three people—just days after a deadly bus-SUV collision nearby. The chopper was en route to cover the earlier crash when it went down, adding to the chaos as emergency crews scrambled to respond. One victim was confirmed in a nearby parking lot; the aircraft was severely damaged, and investigators are still piecing together the full toll. Over fifty firefighters battled the blaze, while California’s governor offered condolences and praised first responders. The NTSB and FAA have launched an investigation, with an investigator set to arrive Wednesday. This tragic double tragedy underscores how rapidly emergencies can compound—and how urgent it is to uncover what went wrong to prevent future disasters.
