Remembering Tim Green aka Merlin1392 - A GTN Tribute

Some friendships become part of every adventure. Join the Geocache Talk Network on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at 8pm Central as we remember and celebrate Tim Green, known throughout the geocaching community as Merlin1392, who passed away on September 6. The GTN team will be joined by Joshua the Geocaching Vlogger, Neil Moore, Jason Hale, and other friends for an evening of heartfelt memories, favorite stories, and appreciation for the life Tim shared with us. As our friend and Challenge Talk co-host, Tim helped remind us that geocaching’s greatest treasures are the experiences we share and the people we meet along the way. Together, we’ll honor his love of adventure and the friendships that continue to connect us. Whether you knew Tim personally, enjoyed watching him on Challenge Talk, or shared a trail with him, we invite you to join us. Bring your memories and share a favorite story in the live chat as we celebrate someone who meant so much to our community. Forever our friend. Challenge Complete!
