Geocache Talk - The Lost Caches Project

The Lost Caches Project — The Hunt Begins! An archived listing. A forgotten trail. A weathered ammo can waiting beneath years of leaves. What remains when a geocache disappears from the map? Join Geocache Talk Network this Sunday at 7pm Central as we venture into geocaching’s forgotten history! We’re discussing The Lost Caches Project: tracking down the oldest archived caches in your area and documenting what remains. From abandoned containers in the woods to the missing Project A.P.E. caches around the world, every location holds a story. Who placed it? What adventures happened there? And could a piece of that history still be hiding in plain sight? Grab your flashlight, dust off those old coordinates, and bring your curiosity! We’ll talk about researching vanished caches, respecting property boundaries and access rules, and preserving the stories behind these lost treasures. Have you rediscovered an archived cache—or have one you’ve always wanted to investigate? Bring your stories and questions to the live chat! #geocaching #geocache #GeocacheTalk #archived
