(17:30) Disadvantaged communities struggle since so many processed foods are cheap, and that can be true. (18:00) The other claim has to do with poor gut health, which Vinnie doesn't believe. (18:30) Vinnie believes it has to do with misinformation and following the federal dietary guidelines. MAHA appears to be divisive for various reasons. (27:30) They discuss some of the concerns expressed about changing the SNAP problem, including expense and waste. But it seems there should be workarounds to resolve the concerns, so stop the insanity. Big Food and Big Pharma aren't likely to want the changes, it seems. (45:00) They discuss Alpha-gal syndrome, which is an allergy to red (mammalian) meat and sometimes dairy. (47:00) It is caused by a tick bite.
