The Sacrifice of Christmas

Christmas is a time where we as believers celebrate God’s heart to write himself into our story. Prior to Jesus we had no real picture of God’s love. All we had to know him by was through stories of old and commandments written into law. But only in Jesus was a pathway created whereby we could walk in intimacy with the Father again. Only in Jesus was the veil torn allowing God’s manifest presence into the earth. We owe all that we have to Jesus. We owe all that we have to Christmas. So across the next two days we’ll celebrate the joyful reality of Christmas. May this time together help us center our celebrations around the goodness of Emmanuel, God with us. Our Scripture for today comes from John 6:51 , and today's worship is Miracle in Motion by Madison Street Worship. Help people connect with God in 2022 Your gift is doubled! Millions of people today are searching for peace. They’re searching for rest. They’re searching for something to help them find healing. That something is a person: God himself. And today, you can help more people connect with the God of true healing when you help expand the reach of First15 in 2022. Thankfully, some generous friends have stepped forward with a $100,000 Matching Grant — which will DOUBLE your gift to help meet the $340,000 year-end goal and finish the year strong. Reaching this goal in full couldn’t be more important, because every dollar given reaches one new First15 reader, listener, or viewer. And with the match, that means your $1 investment impacts two people. Here’s just a taste of what your gift will accomplish in 2022... You’ll help the First15 daily devotional reach more people through our app and emails. You’ll be a part of producing more podcasts that draw people into a deeper relationship with God. You’ll help produce more printed resources and devotionals. You’ll help create more powerful moments of worship music. You’ll be a part of launching a new and improved app. You’ll help expand the reach and impact of Primeros15.
