Tar Heels Aim for Third National Championship

North Carolina Mens Soccer Embarks on NCAA Tournament Journey, Aiming for Third National ChampionshipThe North Carolina mens soccer team, unseeded and with a record of nine wins, five losses, and four ties, will kick off their NCAA tournament journey against North Florida on Thursday evening at six PM at Dorrance Field. If they secure a victory, they will face the number four seed, Maryland, on Sunday. Despite a somewhat disappointing showing in the ACC tournament, the Tar Heels have shown strength against elite teams and boast a solid defense, allowing only fourteen goals all season. However, theyll need to find more offensive consistency to advance further, with talented players like sophomore forward Bertil Rygaard Hansen and top scorer Nacho Abeal. DNN | The Daily News Now!
