Roblox Introduces Age-Based Chat Restrictions

Roblox introduces new age verification steps for private messaging, aiming to enhance platform safety. The feature uses a video selfie for age estimation, with options for users to correct their estimated age. Age groups will be created, allowing users to chat with others within their group or similar age groups. The rollout begins in Australia, New Zealand, and the Netherlands in December, with a global launch planned for January. DNN | The Daily News Now! The world’s first global local news network.
