Cowboys Honor Marshawn Kneeland After Tragic Loss
The Dallas Cowboys paid tribute to their late teammate, Marshawn Kneeland, in their game against the Las Vegas Raiders on November 17th. Kneeland, a defensive end, passed away on November 6th at the age of 24, with his death being investigated as a suicide. The team held a moment of silence before the game, and Cowboys head coach Brian Schottenheimer announced the establishment of the Marshawn Kneeland Memorial Fund to support his pregnant girlfriend, Catalina Mancera. The team will also wear special helmet decals and hang Kneelands jersey in the visitor locker room as a lasting tribute. DNN | The Daily News Now! The world’s first global local news network.
