Why is the CIMT Test Not More Popular? - FORD BREWER MD MPH
While the CIMT test (carotid intima-media thickness test) is excellent, there are certain issues why it's not more popular than other plaque screening tests. There's the issue of perspective. There's also a problem with technique & accessibility.
