Moreover, exposure to others' encouragement and recognizing her perfectionism were critical steps in her transformation. As Hebrews 10:24-25 and Philippians 1:6 guided her, she learned that God's work in us is ongoing and often gradual. Accepting this allowed her to witness God's power manifest in her life slowly but surely. Today, Kathy looks at her adult daughter and marvels at how God's healing power has not only restored their relationship but also turned her anger into a ministry that helps others.
