Facing Ground Zero: A Dateline Special

In this Dateline Special, New Yorkers whose experiences were captured in real time on September 11, 2001, reflect on what they saw, what they survived and how the attacks indelibly shaped their lives and the country. Former WNBC New York cameraman Ralph Patterson, World Trade Center Port Authority Police commanding officer Tim Norris, North Tower 82nd-floor Port Authority employees Daphne Carlisle and Muyiwa Onigbogi, NYPD detective and helicopter pilot Greg Semendinger, Newark Airport Port Authority Police officer John McDevitt, and FDNY paramedic Trinh K. Dinh share their stories of that day.
