Ep 311: The Murder of Mackenzie Anderson with Tabitha Acret, Part 2

21-year-old Mackenzie Anderson was stabbed 78 times with her 15-month-old son present. Her ex, Tyrone Thompson broke into her home whilst he was on bail for assaulting her. Not content with terrorizing and murdering Mackenzie, Tabitha Acret, Mackenzie’s mother, shares how Thompson continued to abuse the system to terrorize Mackenzie’s family even before the trial began. His outrageous claims of self-defense and the disturbing facts revealed for the first time in court will outrage you, compounded by the lenient sentence for what was described as an ‘unremarkable crime’ exposing a stark truth about how women’s lives are too often valued less than men’s within the justice system. This episode is a powerful testament to resilience, accountability, and the urgent need for systemic reform. #MackenzieAnderson #TabithaAcret #DomesticViolence #Femicide #CrimeAnalyst #Expert #Analysis #TrueCrime #Podcast #Crime #NewSouthWales Clip https://www.instagram.com/reel/DN78FzCAZvT/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link More from Tabitha Acret Tabitha on Instagram Tabitha on FB 2026 Masterclasses and Crime Analyst Resources and Community Laura offers 2026 Masterclasses covering topics such as profiling behavior, stalking class on February 12, preventing murder and suicide in slow motion on February 19, coercive control February 25, DASH Risk Masterclass March 11 and 12 and DASH Train the Trainer.
