Exposing The Jezebel Spirit

Cat81 Radio Show Notes: Exposing the Jezebel Spirit

Jentezen Franklin

Key Scripture:
"Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God." — 1 John 4:1

• Believers are called to exercise spiritual discernment.

• Scripture presents Jezebel as a historical figure whose influence included idolatry, manipulation, intimidation, and leading people away from faithfulness to God (see 1–2 Kings and Revelation 2).

• Manipulation, fear, pride, and control have no place in the life of a follower of Christ.

• God's truth exposes deception and brings freedom.

• Victory comes through humility, repentance, prayer, and obedience to God's Word.

• The Holy Spirit gives believers wisdom to recognize error and remain steadfast in Christ.

1 Kings 18–19
1 Kings 21
Revelation 2:20–23
Ephesians 6:10–18
James 4:7
1 John 4:1

At Cat81 Radio, Jaggy and Tedi remind me that our greatest battles are often spiritual, not physical. As we care for others, serve our communities, and follow Christ, we must stay grounded in Scripture, filled with the Holy Spirit, and clothed in the armor of God. Discernment helps us recognize deception while keeping our focus on Jesus rather than fear.

Closing Thought:
The answer to deception is not fear—it's truth. Stay close to Jesus, know His Word, and let the Holy Spirit guide every step. When Christ is at the center of your life, darkness loses its power.
