The Daily Herold: 8/31/26 - Pentagon's Secret Paid Influencers and the Fauci Email Deletion Memos

Jon Herold digs into a Washington Post report alleging the Pentagon secretly installed conservative military influencers, including Kurt Schlichter and the anonymous "Cynical Publius," into civilian roles to amplify Pete Hegseth's messaging without disclosure, and makes the case that undisclosed paid cheerleading is just as troubling coming from allies as it is from opponents. He also breaks down newly released Fauci memos showing repeated instructions to delete emails and steer intelligence agencies toward the natural origins theory during COVID, plus a New York Times report on roughly a billion dollars in untraceable dark money already flowing into the 2026 midterms. Other topics include Trump's Venezuela oil deal timeline, a New York prosecutor's claim that Letitia James' office directed him to target Trump, and a jaw dropping 65 billion dollar Obamacare fraud report.
