Quite Frankly Ep. 68: Rumble & the Death of Social Media, AI Romance & Dream Stories
Frankie Val goes solo for a self described grab bag night, just him and what he calls the molten core of his audience. He opens on Rumble landing WWE Main Event and turns it into a lament for what social media used to be, back when authenticity and consistency beat paying to boost a post into an algorithm that no longer serves the creators who built real bonds. From there it wanders happily. A viral South Korean dating show about human AI romance (Frankie is unimpressed, noting people have loved inanimate objects forever), his blunt disgust at the mRNA fast tracking victory laps out of the UN week, and Iran's threats against the undersea cables that carry the Internet. The back half leans personal and strange, built around dreams, false memories, and a dream story of his own, plus a collection of audience submitted reels and the never ending Mitch McConnell updates. Five Super Chat raffle winners get picked.
