Scarlett Lewis: Choosing Compassion & Forgivness In The Face Of Evil

How can we gain strength, when our life is rocked by a tragic outcome? Joining Sarah Grynberg is Scarlett Lewis, whose son Jessie was murdered in his classroom at the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting massacre. She is the founder of the Jesse Lewis Choose Love Foundation, whose mission is to create safer and more loving communities after the tragic death of her son. However, this isn’t a conversation about a massacre. It's a heartfelt chat about love and healing, as Sarah and Scarlett discuss the signs that Scarlett saw from Jesse after his death; the false conspiracy theories that surround the Sandy Hook Massacre; and how Scarlett chose compassion and forgiveness for the man that murdered her son. If you are longing for an impactful story that pulls at your heartstrings, and that teaches you about the true power of love and survival, then let this emotional chat and Scarlett's courageous words move and inspire you to gather the strength in our own lives too: even in our darkest moments. That to choose love and forgiveness, beyond anger and resentment, is how we may truly heal our lives.
