Untold Radio AM #313 53 Years of Unexplained Encounters with Kay Gleaves
Bigfoot, Dogman & the Human Side of the Unknown
What if the woods that once saved you… never stopped watching?
This week on Untold Radio AM, hosts Doug Hajicek and Jeff Perrella sit down with Kay Gleaves—writer, storyteller, ordained chaplain, and Admin with a.k.a. Sasquatch—for a powerful, deeply personal conversation spanning more than five decades of unexplained encounters.
Kay’s connection to the unknown began at age seven and has continued throughout her life with experiences she believes involved Bigfoot, Dogman, and possibly Wendigos. After years of ridicule and disbelief, she went silent. But in the last two years she has found her voice again. Growing up amid abuse and gang violence, the woods were once her only refuge—a place that eventually became filled with questions, encounters, faith, and purpose.
Now 60, Kay supports expeditions, investigations, events, and the preservation of experiencers’ stories. With a background in chaplaincy, recovery ministry, coaching, and storytelling, she focuses on the human side of these encounters—giving people a place to speak without ridicule. She doesn’t claim to have the answers. She only has the determination to keep asking.
If you’ve ever felt the woods looking back… this episode is for you.
