Moisture Swoon

Scott Van Pelt and Stanford Steve are here to share their biggest takeaways from NFL Week 4. Starting in New Orleans, SVP and Steve share their experiences in the Big Easy honoring the Saints’ infamous punt block 20 years ago on MNF after Hurricane Katrina. SVP discusses how special the Domecoming scene was before the game and what it meant to talk with Steve Gleason, Trombone Shorty and others. The guys then get into the Falcons’ dominant win over the Saints, sharing takeaways from Michael Penix and Bijan Robinson’s performances. Three teams are 4-0, which one is the best? Why Stanford Steve thinks it’s NONE of them, and that the Jaguars have the rightful claim to the league’s best team through a month of ball. The Carolina Panthers are on the rise and Steve is waving the Bryce Young MVP flag. Too soon? Or is he finally emerging as a top-tier QB in the league. Penalties are at an all-time high across the league, leaving SVP frustrated and befuddled, and also nostalgic on what particular ref’s holding call gesture. Additionally, the guys talk the MLB playoffs, Georgia-Alabama, Tom Kim’s amazing win, the 0-4 Texans, how football used to be played in ANY type of weather and of course, Pooptown. | SVPod Approx.
