About
From: United States
In the early 1970s, a pioneering rock band emerged in New York City, known for their outrageous style and raw sound. This iconic group, which released two groundbreaking albums between 1973 and 1974, featured a classic lineup of David Johansen on vocals, Johnny Thunders and Sylvain Sylvain on guitars, Arthur Kane on bass, and Jerry Nolan on drums. Their flamboyant appearance, blending drag fashion and rock sensibilities, remains an enduring part of music history.
