Memleket: United States

In the mid-1960s, a quintessential blend of folk, country, and psychedelic rock came together in Los Angeles, courtesy of Canadians Neil Young, Bruce Palmer, and Dewey Martin, and Americans Stephen Stills and Richie Furay. This influential band, known for the iconic song For What It's Worth, released a string of critically acclaimed albums and singles between 1966 and 1968, leaving a lasting impact on the folk rock genre. Their name, a quirky nod to a steamroller parked outside their home, has become synonymous with the early days of folk rock.
