R. Kelly

About

A music icon whose influence on contemporary R&B, hip-hop, and pop is undeniable, this American singer, songwriter, and record producer earned the nicknames "the King of R&B", "the King of Pop-Soul", and "the Pied Piper of R&B" for his chart-topping success. With a career spanning decades, he was ranked as the 9th greatest R&B artist of all time by Billboard. His legacy was marred by a 2021 and 2022 conviction and subsequent 31-year sentence for serious child sex offences.
