About
This influential folk rock duo consists of Amy Ray and Emily Saliers, who first met in elementary school and began performing together as high school students in Decatur, Georgia. Their journey as the Indigo Girls began at Emory University, where they regularly took the stage at The Dugout, a popular bar in Emory Village. This early start paved the way for their successful music career.
